Proxmox PCI and USB resources assigned to VMs directly from MultiPortal console
-
The possibility, directly from the MultiPortal console, to add/remove to the VMs the mapped PCI and USB resources on the Proxmox cluster, like already possible with other kind of virtual hardware (NICs, disks, ISO images).
The feature should include the possibility, for SPs and resellers, to assign or not a PCI/USB mapped resource to a Datacenter and, consequentially, to the related tenants VDCs, like other IaaS resources (cpu, ram, storage and backup).
This request is to permit customers to provide and manage “GPU as a service” for AI dedicated VMs. -
Hey @r.balboni
We’re aware of this requirement. There’s a lot of planning, assumption testing, security and isolation modelling I want to do before we jump the gun and ship something like this, especially if we consider giving resellers the ability to manage this.
Rest assured though, we have it on our backlog :)
